Raisio plc has added fresh leadership as it reported a challenging second quarter that weighed on its performance during the first half of 2026.
The new line has been installed at the company’s Weston Road site in Crewe, increasing its overall cookie production capacity by more than 30%.
Consolidated net sales reached US$2,787.3 million, an increase of 6.6% compared with the prior-year period, while organic net sales on a constant-currency basis rose 3.6%.
The new ingredient solution combines dried rye sourdough with natural enzymes, giving bakers a convenient way to achieve consistent artisan characteristics while improving dough performance.
The company plans to invest around €500m (US$576.3m) across the sites in Belgium, the US and Thailand by 2030.
