The facility is being constructed by Switzerland’s Bühler Group, a global leader in grain processing and storage technology, in partnership with Egypt’s Samco Company.
Designed to endure seismic activity and support snow loads up to 200 kg/m², the new installation reinforces the group’s ongoing commitment to delivering reliable, climate-resilient solutions for the agribusiness sector.
The project encompasses advanced material handling equipment, custom civil and structural designs, and state-of-the-art automation systems.
The launch follows the successful completion of its first shipment of soybean meal from India in December.
Current CEO Stefan Scheiber will be proposed as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting in February 2026, succeeding Calvin Grieder.
