FAMSUN’s launch of FAMSCEND follows a series of breakthroughs in the high-end pet food processing sector earlier this year.

Developed through the company’s R&D Center in Shanghai, the Tianjin facility employs synergistic fermentation technology to break down anti-nutritional factors in soybean meal.

The FAS said its relatively stable forecast for soybean imports is linked to restrained 2% growth in crushing demand.

The laboratory will be operated jointly with the Food Laboratory of Zhongyuan, a leading provincial research and innovation organization.
