Puratein® C is extracted from non-GMO, North American-grown canola seeds using Burcon’s patented solvent-free process, which upcycles oilseed byproducts into high-value protein ingredients.

The project began in early 2024 in partnership with Transport Canada and was supported by funding from the National Trade Corridors Fund.

Each serving delivers 15 grams of plant-based protein, powered by organic pea protein and baked with coconut oil, making it the only granola on the market with this unique formulation.

The transaction “did not mature to a final agreement,” according to statements from both companies.
