Cizzle Brands launches high-protein sports pasta

Each 85-gram serving delivers 18 grams of protein and 10 grams of fibre, which is significantly higher than conventional pasta varieties.

CANADA – Cizzle Brands Corp., a fast-growing company in the health and wellness sector, has officially entered the functional food space with the launch of HappiEats Sport Pasta, a premium, high-protein pasta crafted explicitly for athletes and health-conscious consumers.

This marks the first food product under the company’s HappiEats brand, complementing its existing better-for-you lines, including CWENCH Hydration and Spoken Nutrition.

Handmade in Italy, Sport Pasta™ is crafted from a unique blend of red lentil, white quinoa, and white bean flour.

Each 85-gram serving delivers 18 grams of protein and 10 grams of fibre, which is significantly higher than conventional pasta varieties.

The formulation is slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve nutritional integrity and support easy digestion, sustained energy, and muscle recovery.

“Pasta has long been a staple in athletes’ diets, but traditional options metabolize too quickly to support peak performance,” said John Celenza, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Cizzle Brands.

“We saw an opportunity to create a pasta that tastes like it came out of an Italian kitchen, but fuels the body like a performance product. That’s why we worked closely with Andy O’Brien, our Chief Performance Officer, to develop Sport Pasta.”

The launch is strategically timed to expand Cizzle’s footprint in both grocery and sports retail channels.

Sport Pasta will initially be available at Shop Santé, Source for Sports, Sports Excellence, and FGL Quebec.

Additional distribution is planned through retailers like Healthy Planet, Longo’s, Fortino’s, VitaCost (a Kroger division), and Metro.

The pasta is available in spaghetti and penne varieties, with a standard box priced at $7.99 CAD and a 12-pack bundle priced at $86.28 CAD.

Cizzle Brands aims to leverage its existing distribution network to scale the product across Canada and beyond.

Sport Pasta is positioned as a versatile, clean-label option for athletes of all ages, offering a lower glycemic index and better macronutrient balance than traditional pasta.

It’s ideal for pre-game meals, post-workout recovery, or everyday nutrition.

With this launch, Cizzle Brands continues to expand its portfolio of functional foods, blending taste, performance, and innovation to set a new standard in the sports nutrition category.
