It reflects the company’s commitment to investing in local capabilities while maintaining a global reach.
The centre is equipped with advanced technologies and staffed by a team of food scientists and application specialists focused on delivering high-performance, sustainable solutions.
This expansion comes at a time when the food industry is under increasing pressure to innovate in response to changing consumer preferences, regulatory demands, and sustainability goals.
Brenntag’s new centre aims to address these challenges by fostering agile development and enabling faster time-to-market for new products.
The Leeds Innovation & Application Center is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting Brenntag’s customers in the UK and beyond, particularly in areas such as plant-based formulations, clean-label solutions, and functional ingredients.
