The hub will serve as a central engine for digital solutions that enable manufacturers to respond swiftly to evolving consumer trends, streamline product development, and enhance supply chain resilience.

As part of the project, the company is manufacturing and installing16 silos for storage of soy protein concentrate.

The initiative is part of Tate & Lyle’s Open Innovation programme, designed to complement its in-house R&D by tapping into proprietary technologies and novel ingredient solutions.

The project began in early 2024 in partnership with Transport Canada and was supported by funding from the National Trade Corridors Fund.

The newly launched facility features 16 state-of-the-art laboratories designed for collaborative product development.
