Alyson Slapkauskas will oversee group level supply chain strategy and operational improvement initiatives; a move the company says will strengthen its ability to deliver turnkey bakery solutions while reinforcing customer service and manufacturing reliability across markets.

FRANCE – MECATHERM, a leading designer and manufacturer of bakery and automated production‑line equipment, has appointed Alyson Slapkauskas as Head of Global Supply Chain & Operational Excellence, marking a key step in its global development strategy.
The move adds a major cross‑border leadership role to Slapkauskas’ existing position as CEO of North America for the ABI and MECATHERM brands, based in Toronto.
In her new role, Slapkauskas will oversee MECATHERM’s worldwide supply‑chain operations and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across plants in France, the United States, Canada, and the recently expanded site in Poland.
The company said the appointment underlines its commitment to strengthening logistics, production efficiency, and on‑time delivery for bakery and food‑processing customers in more than 75 countries.
She brings more than 25 years of operational leadership experience to the role. Previously, Slapkauskas managed multi-site operations, primarily in the aerospace and defence systems industry, with more than 1,000 employees.
This promotion complements her current role as lead of the North American region and aligns with MECATHERM’s commitment to furthering its development strategy.
“I am deeply honored by this appointment and would like to thank Raymond for his trust,” said Slapkauskas.
“By relying on the expertise of our teams, I am determined to support the growth of Me MECATHERM and ABI, with the ambition of creating sustainable and meaningful value, placing customer satisfaction at the heart of everything we do.”
Raymond NOGAEL, President of MECATHERM and Chief Executive Officer of TMG, stated: “I am honored to entrust Alyson with this expanded scope of responsibility. Her proven leadership, unwavering commitment, and strong culture of operational excellence represent invaluable assets for our teams and will significantly contribute to the group’s long-term performance.”
The promotion aligns with MECATHERM’s broader push to enhance reliability, service levels, and innovation in bakery‑automation technology, even as the industry faces tighter supply‑chain and cost pressures.
