EUROPE- Food Ingredients Europe (FiE) witnessed a surge of interest in plant-based alternatives last week, with GoodMills Innovation, a division of Europe’s leading milling group, the GoodMills Group, taking center stage by highlighting the growing demand for plant-based texturates.
The renowned cereal expert showcased a spectrum of innovative plant-based ingredients, reaffirming its commitment to a sustainable, plant-based future.
Katharina Haack, Head of Marketing and Communications at GoodMills Innovation, shared insights with Food Ingredients First about the company’s diverse range of plant-based solutions that captured the attention of FiE attendees. Notably, the Vitatex texturate solutions garnered significant interest during the event.
Haack expressed confidence in the company’s mission, stating, “This reaffirms our belief that we are on the right track with our mission to produce nourishing and natural products for tasty food that supports a better, plant-based future.”
Vitatex texturate solutions were showcased as a prime example of GoodMills Innovation’s commitment to meeting the rising demand for plant-based alternatives. These solutions offer versatile applications in the food industry, especially in creating plant-based textures that mimic traditional meat-based products.
Alongside Vitatex, GoodMills Innovation unveiled other pioneering products at FiE. The Smart legume flours, designed for protein enrichment and texture improvement, were highlighted as functional ingredients catering to evolving consumer preferences.
The Slow Milling range, featuring natural ingredients for premium artisanal baked goods, also drew attention.
A noteworthy addition to the showcased products was Ferment’tic, a natural baking agent designed to enhance the aroma of bread and rolls. The product aligns with the growing demand for authentic and natural flavor enhancers in the baking industry.
SpermidineEvo, a high-spermidine wheat germ concentrate for nutraceutical applications, was another standout feature.
