POLAND – Global milling technology leader Alapros Grain Milling Technology has secured a landmark agreement with Mlyny Kapka, one of Poland’s most prominent flour milling groups, to construct a state-of-the-art milling facility.
According to Alapros, this partnership is poised to set a new benchmark for innovation and excellence in the European milling industry.
The project will feature three distinct production lines with a combined capacity of 1,200 tons per day, making it one of the largest single-phase milling investments in Europe in 2025.
Mlyny Kapka, a key player in Poland’s grain processing sector, aims to solidify its market leadership through this collaboration. By leveraging Alapros’ cutting-edge engineering solutions and advanced equipment, the company seeks to achieve unparalleled production efficiency and product quality.
The facility will incorporate advanced automation systems and energy-efficient technologies, aligning with global sustainability goals while enhancing operational performance.
Founded by Mehmet Alapala and Semih Alapala, the company focuses on technology, science, and art to create products that support its mission to achieve improved nutrition and food security.
Beyond this milestone, Alapros has consistently demonstrated its commitment to revolutionizing the milling sector.
The company has successfully delivered over 500 projects across 60 countries, establishing itself as a trusted partner for high-capacity milling solutions. In 2024, Alapros successfully delivered 23 turnkey projects across 14 countries on five continents.
One of its notable achievements includes the development of the world’s largest semolina mill in Turkey, boasting a daily capacity of 1,500 tons.
Recently, the company commissioned an 800-ton-per-day (tpd) flour mill for Rotana Flour Mills in Sudan, a project expected to boost Sudan’s flour industry and support the country’s push for self-sufficiency in flour production.
In another major project, Alapros is building a state-of-the-art single-line flour factory in Tajikistan with a daily capacity of 1,200 tons, scheduled to commence operations in 2025. This facility, featuring entirely new infrastructure and silos, aims to redefine standards in the region and support Tajikistan’s goal of reducing wheat flour imports.
Alapros also continues to invest heavily in research and development, recently launching its “SmartMill” concept—a comprehensive automation and data management system that optimizes mill performance and energy use.
