On May 6, ADM’s stock price rose to US$48.32 per share from US$47.50 the previous day.
According to KBNS, the price hike is attributed to intensified competition for maize between human food processors and animal feed manufacturers.
The project will raise the site’s total flour capacity to 1,350 tons per day with an additional 750 tons/day from the new mill, while the feed plant will contribute 240 tons/day.
