Moline unveils new donut equipment at IBIE 2025

Set for installation later this year, the fryer promises zero side-to-side temperature variance and extended runtime with minimal oil degradation.

USA – Moline Machinery is unveiling its latest donut production equipment designed to elevate automation, precision, and sanitation across bakery operations at the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) 2025, marking a significant advancement in automated donut manufacturing.

Celebrating its 80th anniversary, Moline Machinery is spotlighting a new mid-capacity donut system designed for daily use and rapid product changeovers.

The new system will be one of the largest installed in the United States, underscoring Moline’s leadership in high-capacity bakery automation.

At the heart of the rollout is Moline’s compact autoloading stamper, engineered for seamless dough handling and shape consistency.

Paired with a self-cleaning proofer and the LIBRA Series thermal-fluid fryer, the system offers continuous oil filtration and optimized heat control, delivering high-quality donuts with minimal downtime.

Changeovers can now be completed in under one minute, a major win for bakeries juggling multiple SKUs.

Also debuting is the DonutKing cake donut depositor, which enhances throughput while maintaining batter integrity.

For high-volume producers, Moline is showcasing its 40-foot LIBRA electric fryer, one of the largest donut fryers ever commissioned.

Set for installation later this year, the fryer promises zero side-to-side temperature variance and extended runtime with minimal oil degradation.

A standout addition to Moline’s finishing lineup is the Sugar Glazer, a machine designed to fully enrobe yeast-raised or cake donuts in granulated or cinnamon sugar.

Unlike traditional tumbling methods, the Sugar Glazer maintains row alignment and eliminates product damage, ensuring both visual appeal and structural integrity.

Rounding out the display are Moline’s custom rotary cutters, built for industrial and retail applications.

These cutters offer endless shape possibilities, from classic rings to seasonal minis, and are crafted with the latest sanitary design standards.

Additionally, the company offers extensive training and support to ensure a seamless startup and maximum equipment effectiveness.

With labor-saving features, innovative sanitation, and flexible configurations, Moline’s new donut systems are expected to reshape production lines across North America and beyond.

With the growing demand for automation that balances scale and quality, Moline’s new donut equipment showcases its commitment to innovation, enabling bakeries to meet the increasing expectations of consumers for high-quality, consistent donuts while maintaining operational efficiency.
