The appointment comes as Eshbal continues to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing better-for-you food market through product innovation, acquisitions, and expanded commercial operations.

CANADA – Eshbal Functional Food, a developer and manufacturer of better-for-you, gluten-free, and GLP-1-friendly food products and dietary supplements, has announced the appointment of Maya Katzman, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 9, 2026.
The company’s Board formally approved the appointment of Directors as part of ongoing strategic initiatives to strengthen executive leadership and support operational expansion across international health and wellness markets.
Katzman brings extensive expertise in corporate finance, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and international financial operations to the executive team.
Before taking on the CFO role at Eshbal, she served as Senior Controller at BlueBird Aero Systems, a tactical unmanned aerial systems (UAS) defense firm.
Earlier in her career, she held finance roles at The Central Bottling Company (Coca-Cola Israel), building a track record in financial governance across complex commercial and consumer goods sectors.
The appointment reflects Eshbal’s effort to scale its corporate infrastructure in tandem with commercial growth.
Built on over three decades of industry experience, the international food group develops, manufactures, and commercializes functional food categories, including targeted nutrition for GLP-1 weight-management regimen support.
Eshbal Chief Executive Officer Tomer Bar Meir emphasized that Katzman had already demonstrated strong financial leadership within the company’s operations, adding that her elevated role will further optimize financial management and support future growth milestones.
“As Eshbal continues to execute its growth strategy, strengthening our financial leadership is essential,” said Tomer Bar Meir, Chief Executive Officer of Eshbal.
“Maya has already demonstrated outstanding financial leadership within our operations, and we are confident that her expanded role will further strengthen the Company’s financial management and support our continued growth.”
Commenting on her appointment, Katzman expressed enthusiasm for taking on the CFO role and working alongside the executive team to reinforce Eshbal’s financial foundation as a publicly traded entity.
“I am excited to take on this expanded role and continue supporting Eshbal’s growth as a public company,” said Maya Katzman, Chief Financial Officer of Eshbal. “I look forward to working with the management team to strengthen our financial infrastructure and support the Company’s long-term strategic objectives.”
The leadership transition coincides with positive momentum for the company, following recent quarterly performance milestones and key corporate developments aimed at expanding its footprint in the functional nutrition and dietary supplement sectors.
