Bimbo Bakeries USA expands Artesano line, moves headquarters to Dallas

The twin developments underscore the company’s continued investment in product innovation and operational efficiency within the highly competitive US bakery market.

USA – Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU), a leading subsidiary of the global baked goods company Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV, has unveiled a trio of new products under its popular Artesano brand while simultaneously announcing a relocation of its corporate headquarters back to the Dallas, Texas area.

The company recently announced the expansion of its well-regarded Sara Lee Artesano bread line, introducing new, health-focused options to meet evolving consumer preferences for clean-label, high-quality bakery items.

BBU has launched three new products as part of its Artesano brand: potato hot dog buns, potato hamburger buns, and sourdough bakery bread.

The additions continue the brand’s mission of bringing elevated, bakery-quality breads to everyday households across the United States.

Both the potato hot dog and hamburger buns feature a soft texture and contain no artificial flavours, preservatives, or high-fructose corn syrup. The buns are available in convenient packs of 8 and 16.

The sourdough bakery bread also boasts a soft texture and comes in a bag designed for easy pantry storage.

These latest additions to the Artesano range continue the brand’s tradition of offering products free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, further cementing their position in the competitive sliced bread market.

Beyond its recent product innovation, Bimbo Bakeries USA has officially finalized the transfer of its corporate headquarters from Horsham, Pennsylvania, to Dallas, Texas.

This move, which was formally confirmed by the organization in April 2026, is designed to enhance operational alignment across the company’s extensive US network.

By positioning its corporate leadership in Dallas, the company aims to integrate its regional operations better and leverage the city’s central location for more effective national distribution.

Additionally, the relocation brings the US management team closer to the Mexico City-based offices of its corporate parent, Grupo Bimbo, facilitating improved communication and strategic collaboration across the North American market.

The decision to establish a new headquarters in Dallas underscores the area’s existing importance to the company’s supply chain, as the region already hosts multiple BBU bakeries, sales centers, and distribution hubs.

This transition is viewed as a vital step in positioning the organization for sustained long-term growth and operational efficiency.

Meanwhile, the expansion of the Sara Lee Artesano line continues to support the company’s commitment to providing premium, accessible bakery products to households nationwide.

As the company settles into its new Texas hub, industry analysts expect that this centralization will support further innovation and market expansion for BBU’s diverse portfolio of heritage brands.
