In order to develop novel recipes, improve current products, and eventually provide snacks that satisfy shifting consumer preferences, the Biscuit and Baked Snacks R&D Lab is being modernized.

Puratos will present these new ingredients at iba 2025 (Hall 15, booth B31).

Compared to the company’s base in Kenya, Kigali is strategically located, and it will now act as a more accessible supply center.

The new ingredient is intended to replace 25% of the cocoa powder in cakes, brownies, cookies, and muffins.
