Pretzelmaker debuts Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Pretzel Bites

This new offering follows the success of the previous Cheetos Pretzel Bites that debuted for a limited time last summer.

USA – Pretzelmaker has announced an exciting new menu item: Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Pretzel Bites, a fiery treat that will be available until July 13.

These new pretzel bites are made fresh daily and hand-rolled, then dusted with Cheetos’ signature Flamin’ Hot seasoning. They pair perfectly with Pretzelmaker’s refreshing all-natural lemonade.

“We listened to our fans, and we’ve delivered even more heat. Last year, our guests loved our collaboration with Cheetos, a brand that shares our commitment to bringing joy to its fans. We wanted to keep this flavor celebration going with a twist by introducing Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Pretzel Bites,” said Katie Thoms, the vice president of marketing at Pretzelmaker.

Founded in 1991, Pretzelmaker is a chain of independently owned and operated franchise stores that specialize in hand-rolled pretzels, smoothies, and cold beverages. It is part of the Global Franchise Group portfolio, which includes over 280 locations in the U.S. and internationally.

Pretzelmaker’s parent company is FAT Brands, a leading global franchising organization that strategically acquires, markets, and develops various fast-casual, quick-service, casual dining, and polished casual dining concepts worldwide. The company currently owns 18 different brands.

Cheetos, a crunchy corn-and-cheese puff snack, is produced by Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo.

Charles Elmer Doolin, the creator of Fritos, invented Cheetos in 1948 and began national distribution in the United States.

The initial success of Cheetos contributed to the merger between The Frito Company and H.W. Lay & Company in 1961, which formed Frito-Lay.

In 1965, Frito-Lay became a subsidiary of The Pepsi-Cola Company, which is now the parent company of the Cheetos brand.

Frito-Lay’s extensive portfolio includes products such as Fritos® corn chips, Lay’s® and Ruffles® potato chips, Doritos® and Tostitos® tortilla chips and branded dips, Cheetos® snacks, Stacy’s® pita chips, PopCorners® air-popped snacks, and SunChips® multigrain snacks.

The company operates over 40 manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Canada, supported by a vast distribution network that serves more than 315,000 retail customers weekly through its direct-store-delivery model.
