The Burleson plant will significantly strengthen the company’s supply chain, enabling faster distribution and improved product consistency across its cafés.

NORTH AMERICA – Paris Baguette, the French-inspired bakery café franchise owned by South Korea’s SPC Group, has officially begun construction on its first North American dough manufacturing facility in Burleson, Texas.
The US$200 million-plus investment marks a pivotal moment in the brand’s aggressive expansion strategy across the United States and Canada.
This investment reflects SPC’s broader global growth strategy, building upon its existing bakery manufacturing sites in China and Malaysia.
The new 267,000-square-foot facility, located in Highpoint Business Park, will be the company’s largest overseas baking production plant to date.
Once operational, it is expected to create 450 jobs and serve as a central hub for producing pastries, bread, and other baked goods for Paris Baguette’s growing network of cafés throughout North America.
The Burleson plant will significantly strengthen the company’s supply chain, enabling faster distribution and improved product consistency across its cafés.
Paris Baguette aims to reach 1,000 North American locations by 2030, building on its current footprint of over 600 international outlets in 14 countries, including the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, China and the Asia-Pacific region.
The brand’s rapid growth has been fueled by strong consumer demand for its artisan pastries, fresh breads, savory lunch items, and premium coffee offerings.
In 2024 alone, Paris Baguette opened 51 new cafés and awarded 163 new franchises. With 78 leases already signed for 2025, the company is on track to surpass 100 new openings this year.
Local and state authorities have supported the project with US$14 million in funding, including US$10 million from the governments of Burleson and Johnson County, as well as additional tax incentives from Texas officials.
Paris Baguette’s Texas facility is expected to be completed by 2027.
As the company continues its journey toward becoming North America’s neighbourhood bakery café, the Burleson plant will play a crucial role in delivering quality, consistency, and scalability to meet the rising demand.
With enhanced production capabilities from the Texas plant, Paris Baguette is well-positioned to accelerate its presence across North America and into Latin American markets in the coming years.
