McVitie’s adds two flavors to beloved Hobnobs range

The launch positions the product as a comfort forward extension of the brand aimed at everyday tea breaks and casual sharing occasions.

UK – McVitie’s, the iconic brand under pladis, has expanded its beloved Hobnobs range with the launch of Hobnobs Oaty Cookies in two irresistible flavors: Milk Chocolate Flavour Chips and Dark Chocolate Flavour Chips.

This innovation transforms the classic oaty texture of Hobnobs into a softer, crumbly cookie format, blending wholegrain oats with generous chocolate chips for a fresh snacking experience.

The biscuits deliver a satisfyingly crunchy texture: the Milk Flavour has a sweet, creamy milky centre, while the Chocolate Flavour has a silky-smooth, chocolate-flavoured centre.

McVitie’s Hobnobs Oaty Crunch Creams are rolling out across all major UK retailers with a recommended retail price of £1 (US$1.33) per 100g pack.

Hobnobs are a British biscuit classic made primarily from rolled oats and rank among the nation’s favourite biscuits for dunking into tea, a cultural tradition deeply embedded in UK snack culture.

The expansion of the Hobnobs range reflects broader trends in the snack industry, where established brands are increasingly experimenting with hybrid formats and flavour combinations to capture consumer interest and drive incremental category growth.

pladis extends its popular baked snacks range to appeal to more consumers

pladis, the global snacking company behind some of the UK’s most loved and iconic brands, has extended its consumer-favourite Mini Cheddars range and added to the Jacob’s Crinklys portfolio, with tasty snacks designed to appeal to more consumers and satisfy their snacking needs.

Mini Cheddars Cheeselets is a new Mini Cheddars sub-brand, launching in two flavours: Intensely Cheesy and Intensely Cheese & Onion. Baked with real cheese, Mini Cheddars Cheeselets are tangy, square-shaped snacks with a delicious crunch and the strong cheese flavour that Mini Cheddars fans love.

The Jacob’s Crinklys range also has new additions, including Crinklys BIG, a new all-year-round proposition made for sharing. The oven-baked snacks come in three flavours: the ever-popular Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Prawn Cocktail.
