The product is aimed at boldly reimagining the classic fry and helping operators stand out in a crowded UK market.
UK – Lamb Weston, an American food processing company, has announced the launch of its latest innovation, Frenzy Fries.
These unique three-sided, skin-on fries were developed to help operators create a distinct point of difference while satisfying the growing demand for sensory dining experiences and sustainably sourced, high-quality ingredients.
Exclusively for the out-of-home (OOH) channel, Frenzy Fries are designed to appeal to diners looking for memorable food experiences. In a recent Lamb Weston study, three out of four consumers stated they would choose Frenzy Fries if they were available on a restaurant menu.
The dining industry is currently feeling the effects of an economic squeeze across all food service sectors, with buying frequency in restaurants declining by 2% over the past year.
In response, Lamb Weston created Frenzy Fries to offer consumers a super-sensory dining experience.
The fries feature a perfectly imperfect shape to provide a handcrafted feel and an extra crispy texture. They are available in various cut sizes and boast a remarkable 20-minute hold time.
“Foodservice operators today must work hard to impress their guests with new and memorable dishes that offer both a sensory experience and fantastic flavors. Our industry-leading fries have been delivering world-renowned potato solutions in quality, taste, and heat-holding capabilities for over 25 years. Frenzy Fries will elevate that fry experience even further!” said Ash Liles, Lamb Weston’s UK Trade Marketeer.
Frenzy Fries are designed to help operators distinguish themselves from their competitors. The menu includes a variety of on-trend potato options, all featuring an impressive 20-minute hold time with minimal loss of crispness and reduced waste.
