Ingredion appoints Diego Reynoso as Chief Financial Officer

His appointment comes as Ingredion continues to pursue growth, productivity improvements and portfolio transformation across its global ingredient solutions business.

USAIngredion Incorporated, a global provider of ingredient solutions to the food and beverage industry, has officially appointed Diego Reynoso as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2026.

In his new role, Reynoso will join the company’s executive leadership team and report directly to Jim Zallie, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Ingredion.

Reynoso will assume overall leadership of Ingredion’s global finance organization, taking charge of enterprise productivity initiatives, disciplined capital allocation, and integration execution.

His appointment comes at a pivotal period as the company continues to execute its broader growth strategy and expand its specialty ingredient solutions portfolio across international markets.

Reynoso succeeds Jason Payant, who served as Interim Chief Financial Officer following the departure of former CFO James D. Gray earlier in the year.

Upon Reynoso’s official start in October, Payant will transition back to his corporate leadership role as Vice President of Finance for Global Texture and Healthful Solutions.

Bringing more than 25 years of extensive financial and operational experience within the food and beverage sectors, Reynoso joins Ingredion from The Boston Beer Company, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer overseeing finance, investor relations, information technology, enterprise strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before his tenure at Boston Beer, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Tyson Foods’ Prepared Foods division and held senior financial leadership positions at Constellation Brands, Beam Suntory, Danone, and Procter & Gamble.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de México and an Executive MBA from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico.

Chief Executive Officer Jim Zallie expressed strong confidence in the appointment, noting that Reynoso’s deep background in major integration projects, portfolio transformations, and shareholder value creation will prove critical to accelerating Ingredion’s long-term commercial goals.

“Diego’s experience in major integration and portfolio transformations across the food and beverage industry will be a great asset for Ingredion,” said Jim Zallie, chairman, president and CEO of Ingredion. “His focus on profitable growth and shareholder value creation will be critical as we advance our strategy and drive long-term value for shareholders.”

Reynoso similarly voiced enthusiasm about joining the organization, highlighting plans to drive operational efficiency and customer value while maintaining disciplined execution across the business.

“Ingredion has a clear strategy, a strong culture and a tremendous opportunity to accelerate growth as the company continues its transformation journey,” said Reynoso. “I am excited to join the team and enhance productivity while delivering on the opportunities ahead through disciplined execution, innovation and a continued focus on creating value for customers and shareholders.”
