Krispy Kreme partners with Mondelēz to launch new limited-time doughnut collection

The collection expands an existing partnership between the brands and introduces two new doughnuts alongside a returning fan favorite, designed to appeal to both longtime OREO enthusiasts and Krispy Kreme regulars seeking playful, textural contrasts in their treats.

USAKrispy Kreme, the iconic doughnut chain, and Mondelēz International, the powerhouse behind OREO cookies, have joined forces to launch an expanded limited-time doughnut collection that fuses the melt-in-your-mouth magic of Krispy Kreme with the crunchy allure of OREO.

The collaboration introduces two new OREO-inspired doughnuts alongside a fan-favorite, available nationwide starting February 24 through March 9.

The collaboration leverages OREO’s massive brand equity to create “craveable” menu news, moving beyond the classic chocolate sandwich cookie to incorporate the popular Golden OREO® flavor profile into the bakery chain’s lineup.

The star of the lineup is the Golden OREO® Doughnut, an Original Glazed® masterpiece topped with Golden OREO®-inspired buttercreme, rainbow sprinkles, Golden OREO® cookie crumbles, and a Mini Golden OREO® cookie for that perfect crunch.

Complementing it is the Chocolate OREO® Dream Doughnut, featuring an Original Glazed® base dipped in chocolate icing and OREO® pieces, crowned with chocolate-flavored Kreme™ and a full OREO® wafer.

Rounding out the trio is the returning OREO® Cookies & Kreme™ Doughnut, an unglazed shell filled with signature Cookies & Kreme™ filling, chocolate-iced and finished with OREO® crumbs and white icing drizzle.

This partnership deepens Krispy Kreme’s successful co-branding streak with Mondelēz, building on prior OREO hits to tap into consumers’ love for indulgent mashups.

The core commercial driver is the Krispy Kreme x OREO® Cookie Dozen, which includes three of each OREO-branded doughnut alongside three classic Original Glazed® doughnuts.

 For smaller consumption occasions, the brand is also offering a targeted three-pack (featuring one of each collaboration doughnut) as well as single-serve options.

The Krispy Kreme x OREO® Cookie Collection will be available in-shop and at drive-thru, and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website. 

By integrating recognizable retail brands into its fresh-baked offerings, Krispy Kreme continues to execute a proven strategy to cut through market noise, generating organic social media buzz and appealing to the “indulgent treat” snacking demographic.
