The additions mark a notable shift for Tate’s, which built its reputation on thin, crispy cookies and has steadily diversified its assortment since joining Mondelēz.

USA – Tate’s Bake Shop, a brand under Mondelēz International, has expanded its permanent cookie portfolio with three new varieties: White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Soft Baked Double Chocolate Chip, and Mint Chocolate Chip.
This expansion brings Tate’s total product portfolio to over two dozen varieties, with additional innovations slated for later in the year to delight loyal fans and attract new cookie lovers nationwide.
The White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies deliver a buttery, golden crunch loaded with creamy white chocolate chunks and toasted macadamia nuts, capturing the tropical elegance that has long been a fan favorite in premium baking circles.
Soft Baked Double Chocolate Chip introduces a chewier profile to Tate’s signature crispiness, featuring a rich cocoa base studded with extra-large semisweet chocolate chips for intense double-chocolate indulgence, without artificial preservatives.
Rounding out the trio, Mint Chocolate Chip blends cool peppermint essence with melty chocolate chips in Tate’s classic thin-and-crisp format, offering a refreshing twist perfect for after-dinner treats or afternoon pick-me-ups.
Since its founding in 1980 by Kathleen King on eastern Long Island and its acquisition by Mondelēz in 2018, Tate’s Bake Shop has built a cult following for its “clean label” ethos: no hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, or artificial flavors; real butter, cage-free eggs, and simple sugars.
The three new additions to the permanent lineup are the latest in a big year of innovation for Tate’s, following the January launch of two new gluten-free flavors, Gluten Free Oatmeal Raisin and Gluten Free Double Chocolate Chip, and more innovation to come throughout 2026.
As “little treat culture” continues to define how Americans shop and snack, and demand for premium, everyday indulgences grows, Tate’s continues to expand its portfolio with fan-driven flavors and innovation.
According to Mondelēz International’s 6th Annual State of Snacking Report, “Consumers are increasingly craving new snack adventures that spark joy in their lives, with 75% agreeing they get excited about finding a new snack to try.”
With a growing portfolio rooted in over 40 years of heritage, Tate’s remains focused on delivering new ways for cookie lovers to enjoy the signature quality and craft the brand is known for.
This expansion underscores Mondelēz’s strategy to invigorate legacy brands amid snacking trends favoring indulgent yet “better-for-you” treats.
As US cookie consumption rises with hybrid work lifestyles, Tate’s solidifies its status as a household name, baking joy one crispy bite at a time.
