This deployment marks a pivotal shift in the industrial food sector as First Mills integrates the advanced Kelvingrove platform across all four of its major production facilities to optimize its supply chain and production cycles.

SAUDI ARABIA – First Mills, one of the Kingdom’s leading flour milling companies, is deploying a new AI agent platform across its four production facilities in a move aimed at improving supply chain performance and operational efficiency.
The rollout marks the first use of mathematically verified AI agent infrastructure at this scale in Saudi Arabia and adds a digital layer to a business that plays a central role in the country’s food security system.
The AI platform, called Kelvingrove and developed by Kodamai, is designed to manage procurement signals, supplier coordination and inventory processes.
According to Kodamai, the deployment is intended to support faster decision-making and better visibility across production operations, helping First Mills respond more effectively to market and supply chain changes.
First Mills said the collaboration reflects a broader focus on resilience, technology adoption and long-term efficiency in the flour milling sector.
Kodamai said its platform introduces a new operational model for First Mills, deploying scalable, coordinated fleets of AI agents across its business to Optimise supply chain operations by managing procurement signals, supplier coordination, and inventory levels in real time.
The platform will monitor production and quality outputs against precise specifications, triggering adaptive and verified responses.
Additionally, it will reduce operational burden by automating repetitive decision cycles, allowing teams to focus on growth and expansion initiatives.
Moreover, it will ensure full governance and auditability, with every agent action traceable and compliant with regulatory requirements.
First Mill’s CFO, Alaa Shousha, said the project is not simply about introducing new technology, but about creating a framework that makes operational decisions provably accurate and fully auditable.
He added that improved supply chain optimization and shorter production cycles can strengthen profitability while reinforcing the company’s role in food security.
The deployment also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader push under Vision 2030 to build a more technology-driven, diversified economy.
Industrial firms across the Kingdom are increasingly adopting automation and AI tools to improve productivity, reduce manual intervention and modernize critical sectors such as food production.
First Mills’ move stands out because it applies advanced AI to a category closely linked to national supply stability.
By adopting AI across multiple sites, First Mills is positioning itself not only as a milling leader but also as an early adopter of enterprise-scale digital tools in Saudi agriculture and food processing.
