dsm-firmenich reshapes executive committee to accelerate consumer-centric growth

This critical move aligns with the company’s vision to accelerate transformation and sharpen its focus on delivering value to consumers worldwide.

SWITZERLAND – dsm-firmenich, a global leader in nutrition, health, and sustainable living, has announced a strategic evolution of its Executive Committee, reinforcing its transformation into a fully consumer-focused company.

The move marks a pivotal step in the group’s ambition to lead innovation in nutrition, health, and beauty, while sharpening its focus on high-growth, high-margin segments.

Alessandre Keller will join the company on September 22, 2025, and effective January 1, 2026, he will assume the role of President of Health, Nutrition & Care (HNC), succeeding Philip Eykerman.

Keller, a Swiss national with over 25 years of global leadership experience across Nestlé and Unilabs, brings a powerful blend of strategic vision and operational excellence.

His appointment reflects dsm-firmenich’s commitment to holistic well-being and its drive to deliver tailored solutions for evolving consumer needs.

Philip Eykerman will transition to a newly created role as Chief Strategy, M&A and Transformation Officer, continuing as a member of the Executive Committee.

His shift signals the company’s intent to deepen its strategic capabilities and accelerate transformation initiatives across its global portfolio.

In another key transition, Maurizio Clementi will become President of Taste, Texture & Health (TTH), following the retirement of Patrick Niels after a distinguished 34-year career.

Clementi, a US-Italian citizen and 14-year veteran of the company, has served as EVP for Taste since dsm-firmenich’s inception.

Known for his cross-industry expertise and customer-focused leadership, Clementi is well-positioned to steer the TTH business into its next chapter.

As part of the company’s ongoing carve-out of its Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) division, Ivo Lansbergen will step down from the Executive Committee on October 1, 2025, to focus exclusively on leading the ANH business.

This move aligns with dsm-firmenich’s strategy to concentrate on its core consumer-facing units: HNC, TTH, and Perfumery & Beauty.

CEO Dimitri de Vreeze praised the incoming leaders for their ambition and purpose-led approach, noting that these appointments reflect the strength and continuity of dsm-firmenich’s leadership.

With these changes, dsm-firmenich is positioned to accelerate its consumer-first transformation, reinforcing its leadership in science-backed, purpose-driven innovation across global markets.
