CPM appoints Jeremy Patten as Chief Executive Officer

Patten joins CPM as the company continues to focus on growth, operational improvement, and strengthening customer support throughout the full lifecycle of its equipment.

USA – CPM, a global provider of process equipment, engineered technologies for oilseed processing and animal feed production, and aftermarket support, has appointed Jeremy Patten as its chief executive officer.

The company announced the appointment, bringing an experienced industrial and manufacturing executive into the leadership role as it pursues business growth, operational improvements and stronger customer support.

Patten brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across international industrial, manufacturing and technology-driven businesses.

Most recently, he served as president of Modine’s Performance Technologies segment, where he managed industrial operations and technology-focused businesses.

Before joining Modine, he spent more than eight years at ATS Corporation, including serving as president of its Packaging and Food Technology Group. He also held leadership positions at IDEX Corporation and Danaher Corporation.

CPM is looking to build on its established market position, engineering capabilities, and customer relationships across the food, fuel, and industrial sectors.

The company supplies processing equipment and engineered solutions, supported by aftermarket parts, maintenance services, upgrades and technical support throughout the operating life of its equipment.

Simon Peckham, chief executive of Rosebank Industries, CPM’s owner, said Patten’s operational leadership, commercial experience, and focus on execution made him well suited to lead the business.

Peckham highlighted the company’s growth opportunities and the importance of expanding its aftermarket activities while improving performance across the organization.

For the grain-processing and food manufacturing industries, CPM’s equipment and technologies support operations that require reliable processing systems, efficient production and consistent product quality.

Its activities include equipment and solutions serving oilseed processing and animal feed production, making the company a relevant supplier to agricultural commodity processors and manufacturers.

Patten said CPM’s established brands, engineering expertise, long-standing customer relationships and extensive global installed base attracted him to the role.

He said his priorities would include expanding the business and improving customer support throughout the equipment lifecycle.

The leadership change comes as industrial equipment suppliers face pressure to help customers improve operational efficiency, maintain reliable production and manage equipment costs.

For CPM, strengthening aftermarket services offers an opportunity to support existing customers while developing additional business from its installed equipment base.

Patten’s appointment is expected to support CPM’s continued focus on growth, operational execution and customer service.

His experience across manufacturing and technology-driven businesses will be relevant as the company works to strengthen its competitive position and deliver value across its global markets.
