The collaboration has enabled Botselo Mills to supply more than 120 tonnes of maize products.

Mesut Çakmak, Chairman of the Board of TUSAF, said exports fell 22.5% year-on-year to about 2.345 million tonnes, but the industry is aiming to recover.

Enterprise Ireland will oversee and administer the initiative and will engage directly with firms considering new or expanded milling operations of scale.

This acquisition supports SWT’s strategic focus on growth, diversification, and investment in value-added food production close to prairie grain supplies.

The arrangement is intended to cushion the country against potential shortages and ease pressure on consumers facing rising unga prices.
