BinSentry launches Control Tower software platform to transform feed mill inventory management

Control Tower builds on BinSentry’s existing technology suite, including ProSense HD, an advanced AI driven platform for real time monitoring of feed and grain inventories.

NORTH AMERICA – BinSentry, a global leader in AI‑powered feed inventory management, has launched Control Tower™, a real‑time software platform designed for feed mills and grain elevators to give operators a live, interactive view of every bin in a facility, including ingredient and finished feed levels, total inventories, capacity and recent activity.

Control Tower was announced on March 10, 2026, as the next step in BinSentry’s mission to modernize the animal feed supply chain with artificial intelligence and automation.

The platform is built to work seamlessly with BinSentry’s existing ProSense HD sensors, combining real‑time bin data into a single interface that operators can access on desktop, tablet or mobile devices.

This unified view eliminates the need for manual inventory checks and helps mills avoid errors caused by outdated data or guesswork.

Operators using Control Tower can navigate a custom map of their facility, hover over bins to see 3D renderings and in‑bin imagery, access historical trends and deeper analytics, and filter information by ingredient type.

These capabilities help mills identify potential ingredient shortages, reduce shrinkage from manual counting errors, manage demurrage risk, and respond more quickly to unplanned truck arrivals or sudden capacity constraints, all before they escalate into costly disruptions.

Feed mill executives have long struggled with limited visibility into inventory and fragmented systems that force reactive decision‑making.

Control Tower aims to change that by giving managers a holistic, real‑time picture of inventory and trends, rather than isolated snapshots that quickly become outdated.

“Feed mills have been forced to operate reactively for far too long,” said BinSentry CEO Ben Allen.

“Climbing bins to eyeball inventory, chasing spreadsheets, and responding to problems after they happen is inefficient and unsafe. Control Tower changes that by integrating AI‑powered 3D bin sensors with a live, facility‑wide dashboard. This isn’t just monitoring inventory, it’s transforming how mills operate.”

Control Tower builds on BinSentry’s existing technology suite, including ProSense HD, an advanced AI‑driven platform for real‑time monitoring of feed and grain inventories.

ProSense HD uses high‑definition 3D sensors that can see through dust and debris to deliver precise data, and it is now extending the company’s reach into large commercial grain handlers and industrial inventory storage facilities.

BinSentry’s network already monitors tens of thousands of bins across North America, and installations continue to grow monthly.

Adopting the technology

BinSentry technology is already being adopted by major agricultural companies in North America.

For example, Wayne‑Sanderson Farms, one of the nation’s largest poultry producers, has deployed BinSentry’s feed bin sensors throughout its operations to enhance feed supply chain visibility, reduce manual inventory checks, and improve safety.

BinSentry also has long‑standing partnerships with global feed and agribusiness leaders such as Cargill, which distributes BinSentry’s sensor technology through its animal nutrition platforms to improve inventory tracking, optimize truck routing and enhance production scheduling across feed mills and farms.

These partnerships matter because they demonstrate real industry demand for automated inventory data, stronger forecasting and safer operations.

Feed inventory management has historically been one of the most complex operational challenges for mills, with manual processes leading to errors, safety risks and supply chain inefficiencies.

By combining AI sensors, real‑time software, and cloud‑based dashboards, BinSentry’s platforms help mills reduce waste, avoid costly stockouts and improve service to customers and livestock producers.

The company’s growth has also attracted significant investment.

In 2025, BinSentry raised US$50 million in Series C funding led by Lead Edge Capital to accelerate global expansion and support further innovation in real‑time feed supply chain technology.

The funding reflects increasing investor interest in practical agritech solutions that deliver measurable value to large agricultural enterprises.
