AXOR expands global presence with new pasta production line in Pakistan

PAKISTAN – AXOR, a leading company specializing in pasta processing technologies and a member of Alapala Holding, has recently commissioned a state-of-the-art short-cut pasta production line in Pakistan.

This facility boasts a production capacity of 2,000 kilograms per hour, aiming to meet the growing demand for short-cut pasta in the Pakistani market.

According to the company, before initiating any project, AXOR conducts extensive feasibility and research and development (R&D) studies to ensure efficiency and maximize investment value for pasta producers.

These studies involve comprehensive analyses of factors such as the project’s location and the specific types of pasta to be produced. Based on these findings, AXOR optimizes processes to enhance efficiency and profitability for its clients.

Before commissioning, each pasta production line undergoes rigorous testing by AXOR’s R&D teams to ensure high performance and energy efficiency. This commitment to quality guarantees that the production lines operate at optimal levels, delivering superior pasta products to consumers.

AXOR offers high-capacity turnkey solutions tailored to the requirements of pasta producers. From facility construction to automation, AXOR provides end-to-end project services, ensuring a seamless and efficient production process.

With over 170 reference projects worldwide, AXOR continues to expand its global footprint, providing innovative solutions to pasta producers across various markets.

For instance, in September 2024, AXOR integrated a continuous semi-automatic dryer into a long-cut pasta production line in the Netherlands. This modernization aimed to reduce drying time and energy consumption, demonstrating AXOR’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in pasta production.

Additionally, in August, AXOR signed a contract with MENA Food Chad to construct the country’s first pasta factory, a significant step towards improving food security and economic growth in Chad.

This landmark project is expected to be operational by mid-2025 and will have a production capacity of 2,000 kilograms per hour, making MENA Food Chad the sole supplier of locally produced pasta in the country.

Marco Mistroni, CEO of AXOR, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This factory will not only ensure the availability of high-quality pasta products for the people of Chad and neighbouring regions, but will also stimulate local economic growth and employment.”

The state-of-the-art facility will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and designed to meet international food safety standards, creating numerous jobs and enhancing Chad’s food processing capabilities.

The project aligns with Alapala Group’s broader strategy to expand its presence in Africa and underscores the company’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that support sustainable development in the global food industry.
