The Madina Bakers opens its first store in Doha, Qatar

The bakery store provides a dedicated platform for customers to experience a variety of cookies made with high-quality ingredients.

QATAR – The Madina Bakers, a Qatar-based bakery specializing in handcrafted cookies, has opened its first storefront in Doha, Qatar.

This launch marks a significant milestone for the founder Ibrahim Majanini, who initially started The Madina Bakers as a home-based project.

With increasing demand, the bakery has transitioned from a personal passion into a full-scale business that offers customers an impressive selection of freshly baked cookies.

“The Madina Bakers started from a simple idea: sharing cookies with friends and family. Opening this store allows us to bring that experience to more people in a warm and welcoming setting,” said Majanini.

The bakery’s menu features a diverse array of cookies, from rich chocolate options to citrus-infused flavors. Each batch is crafted using premium ingredients, including organic cane sugar, farm-fresh eggs, and high-quality butter.

The storefront is designed to create an inviting space where customers can enjoy freshly baked treats. The shop also offers gift packaging for those wishing to share its signature cookies with others.

“Our goal is to offer more than just cookies—we want to create a place where people can gather, enjoy familiar flavors, and make new memories,” Majanini stated.

The Madina Bakers is now open to customers. The bakery provides artisanal and handcrafted cookie options made from high-quality ingredients, and has plans to expand its offerings while maintaining the quality and approach that have defined its success.

The bakery focuses on traditional baking techniques and carefully selected flavors, and offers a selection of cookies that blend nostalgia with modern tastes.

According to a report published by IMARC Group, the Qatar bakery products market reached US$510 million in 2024.

Looking ahead, IMARC Group expects the market to grow to US$938.4 million by 2033, demonstrating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7% during the forecast period.

The report highlights that as lifestyles become busier, there is an increasing preference for ready-to-eat and easy-to-prepare food items, including baked goods.

This trend is particularly noticeable in urban areas where working professionals and busy families seek quick meal solutions.

The convenience of bakery products lies in their versatility and ready availability, as items such as bread, pastries, and cakes can serve as quick breakfast options, snacks, or even meal components.
