Regenera Cerrado is part of Cargill’s broader sustainability strategy, which includes commitments to advance regenerative agriculture across 10 million acres globally by 2030.

According to the USDA, Brazil will remain the undisputed leader with approximately 40% of global supply.

The plant is designed to crush up to 35 million bushels of soybeans annually, with plans to process sunflower, canola, and camelina by 2026.

Hungary, one of Europe’s leading producers of sunflower seeds, was selected for its strong agricultural base and rising demand for sustainable sourcing.

The FARM P3 pilot will directly benefit up to 4,000 smallholder farmers, providing them with new opportunities to strengthen production and market access.
