The addition of Fantasy Baking further expands Sweetmore Bakeries’ scale, strengthens its position in the key cookie and baked bar categories, and advances its long-term strategy of building a coast-to-coast network for premium sweet baked goods.

The investment is designed to increase production capacity, support growing global demand for biosolutions and strengthen the resilience and flexibility of the company’s international supply network.

The company said biscuits rolled off the rehabilitated production line during a technical trial run, although further testing and rehabilitation are required before the products return to the market.

The strategy focuses on integrating AI-driven breeding platforms with novel chemical and biotechnology traits to boost farm yields, optimize input efficiency, and improve climate resilience for growers worldwide.

The facility is expected to strengthen LDC’s logistics capabilities and support more efficient grain supply chains in one of Pakistan’s major agricultural regions.
