Once completed, Egypt’s total grain reserves will exceed 6 million tons, marking a major step toward stabilizing its supply chain for key staples.
This decline in revenue reflects a broader slowdown in consumer demand and possibly increased competition in Egypt’s food processing sector.
The investment will be channelled into upgrading production lines, expanding milling operations, and enhancing export capabilities.
The primary objectives include elevating the productivity of key crops such as rice, wheat, and corn, as well as engineering new varieties tailored to Mauritania’s specific environments.
