Founder Martin Schlauri said the decision to anchor the school in Kenya was deliberate, noting its accessibility and Bühler’s existing industrial footprint.

The mill was developed jointly by Bühler Changzhou in China and the company’s headquarters in Switzerland and is designed to produce 15 to 60 tons per hour.

Bühler already has an established footprint in Madagascar in the wheat milling, animal feed, and chocolate processing industries.
