Viney succeeds Massimo D’Ambrosio, who has moved to a new role within Ferrero Group in the United States.

Mr. Carter assumes the role from Luis Viso, who joined The Marzetti Company as Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2023 and will retire later this year.

The leadership change comes as Hershey continues to expand beyond traditional chocolate into a broader snacking portfolio that includes salty snacks and protein products.

He will report directly to Dirk Van de Put, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Mondelēz, and join the company’s executive leadership team.
