The continent increased investment and more than doubled its agricultural research workforce over the past two decades, but major gaps remain between regions.

The funding will help expand fertilizer production, renewable energy capacity, water supply systems, and green ammonia manufacturing as OCP moves into the next phase of its investment plan.

The ADM Cares programme will provide more than 184,000 meals to over 200 students at Starehe Girls’ Centre and School over the next academic year.

The event highlighted the role of millet and other climate-smart crops in supporting food security, water conservation and sustainable farming in the UAE.

The new partnership aims to strengthen Ghana’s food systems, create jobs and improve food security by 2030.
