The new electric trucks, powered entirely by certified renewable energy (REGOs), produce zero emissions during operation and are expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 95 tonnes per truck annually.
The venture will be majority-owned by Alltech and overseen by a board with
equal representation from both partners.

The project began in early 2024 in partnership with Transport Canada and was supported by funding from the National Trade Corridors Fund.
