Renshaw Baking launched five product ranges to revitalize cake decorating category  

The new lines expand Renshaw’s portfolio beyond traditional icings, addressing key stages of the decorating process.

UK – Renshaw Baking, the British Bakels-owned brand renowned for fondant icing and marzipan, has launched five innovative product ranges to revitalize the cake decorating category.   

This marks the company’s most extensive product introduction since its acquisition by British Bakels in December 2023, targeting bakers seeking high-performance, great-tasting solutions for professional and home use.   

The new lines expand Renshaw’s portfolio beyond traditional icings, addressing key stages of the decorating process.   

The debut ranges include Food Colourings, offering eight vibrant water-based and eight bold oil-based shades in 20g bottles or five-shade multipacks for precise tinting.   

Metallic Paints provide eight highly lustrous, glittery finishes, also in 20g singles or multipacks, ideal for eye-catching effects on cakes and models.   

Sprinkles come in four varieties to add texture and fun, while the UK-market-first Fruit Fillings, made with real fruit in Cherry, Strawberry, and Blueberry flavors, are ideal for drizzling, layering in sponges, or mixing into buttercream.   

Renshaw has also revived its Chocolate Modelling Paste with an improved recipe, available in White Chocolate and Milk Chocolate variants.   

These pastes excel at blending, moulding, and creating intricate designs such as flowers and figures, enhancing their versatility for detailed work.   

The launches stem from customer feedback and Bakels Group’s global expertise, aiming to streamline choices while boosting ease, taste, and functionality.   

James Cawthorne, managing director at British Bakels, described the initiative as the start of an ongoing innovation pipeline.   

He emphasized Renshaw’s loyal following among bakers and the new products’ role in delivering expertise across decorating, from color and texture to filling and modelling.   

The ranges support trends toward convenient, flavorful decorations that perform reliably.   

This expansion positions Renshaw to capture growth in the dynamic cake-decorating market, where demand for premium, user-friendly ingredients is rising.   

Bakers gain a cohesive toolkit for stunning results, reinforcing the brand’s 120-year legacy of quality and royal warrant prestige.   

Availability spans wholesale and retail channels, promising broader access for creators.
