The company says the new products will help households, bakers, and small food businesses manage cost while maintaining quality.

NIGERIA – Olam Agri’s wheat milling business, Crown Flour Mill Ltd, has launched two new food products in Nigeria as the company moves to meet changing demand from households and food businesses.
The company introduced Mama’s Choice Wheat Flour and a new semolina product during two customer engagement sessions held in Lagos. Distributors, dealers, bakers, confectioners, and retailers attended the events.
Olam Agri said the launches followed market research and discussions with partners across the supply chain. The company added that the products focus on quality, affordability, and performance for everyday cooking and baking needs.
Mama’s Choice Wheat Flour targets household and confectionery use. According to the company, the flour gives finer and whiter results while using less oil during frying. The product suits foods such as chin chin, puff puff, doughnuts, cakes, and meat pies. The flour also contains added Vitamin A.
The company’s new semolina product contains added vitamins and micronutrients. Olam Agri said the product gives a smooth and firm texture that works well with local soups commonly eaten in Nigerian homes.
Nitin Mehta, Business Head of Olam Agri’s flour milling business, said the launches support the company’s focus on products that respond to customer needs.
“These launches reinforce our commitment to delivering market driven solutions that support households, confectioners and small businesses with products that improve both cooking outcomes and profitability,” he said.
Bola Adeniji, Head of Marketing, said product trials produced positive feedback from users and retailers.
“Our products have consistently outperformed competing brands during product trials, and users are already expressing readiness to switch because of the clear economic and performance advantages,” she said.
The company also thanked distributors, dealers, bakers, confectioners, and retail partners who attended the Lagos events, saying their support remains important to its business growth in Nigeria.
The launches come only months after Olam Agri entered Ghana’s pasta market with First Choice Premium Spaghetti, which the company described as the first pasta brand produced fully in Ghana.
The pasta comes from the company’s factory in Kpone, where production, packaging, and distribution take place locally. Olam Agri said the move will help reduce reliance on imported pasta while giving consumers more affordable options in the market.
