Nutri-Grain revamps its brand’s offerings, packaging

Nutri-Grain is getting a makeover after over 30 years.

USA – Nutri-Grain, a Kellanova brand, has revamped its iconic bars, which now come in vibrant packaging with 10 grams of whole grains and 10 vitamins and minerals as part of this revamp.

Consumption of whole grains varies from 39% to 61% of what nutrition experts recommend, according to a recent study from Tufts University.

In light of this, Nutri-Grain uses whole grains to fill the gap between nourishment and convenience.

The redesigned bars have healthy components and popular tastes including apple, cinnamon and strawberry.

The new bars from Nutri-Grain are being sold all around the country. Through consumer-inviting activations, the brand will expand the makeover beyond the supermarket aisle.

“This refresh is about giving people the nutrition they want and need — in a way that feels familiar, but even more relevant to what they look for in a snack. We’ve upgraded the nutrition and made it easier to navigate the shelf while still delivering the delicious flavor Nutri-Grain is known for,” said Eileen Flaherty, brand marketing director at Kellanova.

Kellanova has been producing breakfast cereal and bars under the Nutri-Grain brand since 1976.

Nutri-Grain’s breakfast cereal produced in Australia and New Zealand are made from corn, oats, and wheat, while in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland, Nutri-Grain produces soft breakfast bars.

Rapid urbanization, rising disposable incomes, and the adoption of Western eating habits in emerging nations have all contributed to the market’s continuous expansion.

Demand for breakfast cereals is increasing as more people seek out healthier options and show a strong preference for high-protein, high-fiber, and nutty cereals.

Consumer interest has increased as a result of flavour innovations, organic and gluten-free products, and sustainability initiatives.

Originally called the Kellogg Company, Kellanova is a worldwide American food manufacturing company with its headquarters located in Chicago. It is also commonly referred to as Kellogg’s.
