UKRAINE – Nibulon, a leading Ukrainian grain exporter, has reported that its elevator complexes have received more than 1 million tonnes of grain from the 2026 harvest, highlighting the company’s role in supporting farmers and maintaining agricultural supply chains amid ongoing wartime challenges.
The milestone reflects grain deliveries through Nibulon’s elevator network, which provides farmers with facilities to receive, store, and market harvested crops.
The company continues to buy grain from agricultural producers while offering storage options that let farmers manage sales based on their operational and financial needs.
The 2026 harvest intake includes key commodity crops such as wheat, barley, and corn, sourced directly from regional farming partners across Ukraine.
The achievement is particularly significant in southern Ukraine, where agricultural production and grain transportation remain exposed to security risks, disrupted logistics and restricted access to port infrastructure.
In the Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, Nibulon reported that its elevators received about 1 in every 10 tonnes of harvested grain.
These frontline areas remain important to Ukraine’s agricultural sector despite the difficulties farmers face in moving produce from fields to collection points.
Serhii Kalkutin, Nibulon’s director of logistics and elevator operations, attributed the milestone to cooperation with agricultural producers and the efforts of the company’s employees.
He noted that delivering grain in frontline regions requires considerable effort, making farmers’ continued confidence in the company particularly important.
Nibulon said its diversified logistics model and development of alternative transportation routes have helped maintain the movement of agricultural commodities for export.
Reliable grain collection and storage infrastructure remains essential to connect producers with domestic buyers and international markets, especially when conventional transportation routes are disrupted.
The company also reported strong export performance during the 2025/26 marketing year.
In July 2026, Nibulon announced it exported 3.15 million tonnes of grain, a 32% increase from the 2.39 million tonnes shipped in the previous marketing year.
The growth underlined the importance of its trading operations and logistics network in sustaining Ukraine’s agricultural exports.
Founded in 1991, Nibulon is one of Ukraine’s major grain exporters and agricultural producers.
Its infrastructure includes elevator complexes, rail assets, and a fleet that supports the movement of agricultural commodities.
The latest harvest milestone underscores the continued importance of grain storage, procurement, and logistics services for Ukrainian farmers.
As the 2026 harvest progresses, maintaining access to reliable collection facilities and export channels will remain critical to protecting farm incomes and supporting Ukraine’s contribution to international food supplies.
