The company has expanded its product range with new confetti, gluten free and bread mixes while also building on recent home baking technology efforts.

USA – King Arthur Baking Company has expanded its baking mix range with five new products as more home bakers look for quick and reliable baking options without giving up quality.
The new range includes two Confetti mixes, two Gluten Free mixes and the Soft Golden Roll & Bun Mix Kit. The company said the products give consumers more choices for everyday baking as well as special occasions.
The Confetti Cake & Cupcake Mix and Confetti Sugar Cookie Mix are available only through Target and King Arthur Baking. Both products feature sprinkles from Supernatural that contain no synthetic colours and offer a classic cake batter flavour.
King Arthur Baking also added the Gluten Free Roll & Bun Mix and the Gluten Free Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. The products are available through retail stores, Amazon and the company’s website. The company said the mixes produce soft rolls in about an hour and rich chocolate chip cookies while giving people who avoid gluten more baking choices.
The Soft Golden Roll & Bun Mix Kit, which became available through Amazon and Walmart in June, contains five simple ingredients. Home bakers only need to add butter and milk before baking the rolls and buns in about an hour.
“These new mixes reflect how people are baking today, looking for convenient solutions that still deliver great tasting, high quality results,” said Hillary Balma, Senior Director of Product Innovation at King Arthur Baking. “Whether it’s a celebratory confetti cake, or warm dinner rolls fresh from the oven, we’re focused on making baking feel joyful, accessible, and rewarding.”
The company said the latest additions continue its focus on quality ingredients, reliable performance and helping bakers prepare food for family meals and celebrations.
The new products follow another recent move by the company to support home bakers. In June 2025, King Arthur Baking worked with FirstBuild, the co-creation community of GE Appliances, to introduce the Sourdough Sidekick. The device automatically feeds and builds sourdough starter, reducing the daily work needed to keep a starter active.
The Sourdough Sidekick includes an automatic feeding mode that can maintain a starter for up to seven days without discard, a custom mode for experienced users and temperature sensing that adjusts feeding based on room conditions.
“At GE Appliances and FirstBuild, open innovation is key to understanding consumer needs and transforming them into groundbreaking solutions. By listening to our customers and collaborating with enthusiasts, we are shaping the future of home baking,” said Kevin Nolan, Chief Executive Officer of GE Appliances.
Founded in 1790, King Arthur Baking is the oldest flour company in the United States. The employee owned business is also a Certified B Corp and serves both home and professional bakers.
