Hostess expands snacks line with Apple Cinnamon Fritter Rings, Cupcakes Minis

USA – Hostess Brands Inc., a subsidiary of the J.M. Smucker Co., is expanding its snacks line with two new products: Hostess Donettes Apple Cinnamon Fritter Rings and Hostess Cupcakes Minis, catering to consumers looking for convenient, indulgent, and flavorful snacks.

Hostess Brands Inc., founded in 2013, is an American bakery company producing popular snack cakes under the Hostess and Dolly Madison brands. The company operates several bakeries across the United States and is headquartered in Kansas.

Its newly launched Hostess Donettes Apple Cinnamon Fritter Rings offer a fresh take on classic doughnuts. Soft, fluffy, and infused with real apple pieces and warm cinnamon, these fritter-inspired treats are coated in a sweet glaze for the perfect balance of flavor and texture. 

Their pull-apart bubble design makes them a fun and shareable snack option. Notably, they contain no high-fructose corn syrup and are available in six-count boxes, each individually wrapped treat weighing 1.73 ounces.

The second new launch is Hostess Cupcakes Minis, a mini version of the beloved Hostess Cupcakes. These bite-sized treats feature fluffy chocolate cake made with real cocoa, whipped crème filling, and the iconic Hostess squiggle.

Designed for portability, they are packaged in single-serve pouches containing three mini cupcakes each, with multipack boxes offering six pouches of two mini cupcakes each—perfect for on-the-go snacking.

“We craft all of our products with people’s busy lives in mind, which is why we’ve made our number one cupcake in mini form, increasing its portability. From car to pantry, Hostess Cupcakes Minis offer a perfectly sized snack for whenever a sweet craving hits,” said Aundrea Graver, Director of Brand Marketing at Hostess Brands.

These new launches follow the introduction of HoneyBun Donettes in February 2024. Inspired by the classic HoneyBun pastry, these bite-sized Donettes feature the warm cinnamon and sweet vanilla glaze flavor that has made the original HoneyBun a nostalgic favorite since the 1950s.
