The project is designed to improve grain handling, speed up vessel unloading, and strengthen the efficiency of Cameroon’s main commercial port.

The new greenfield mill is designed to process approximately 238,000 tonnes of wheat annually, making it a significant addition to Central Africa’s flour-processing infrastructure.

The project is expected to add new capacity to the country’s established flour milling industry.

The funding is intended to help Chad address the immediate and longer-term consequences of climate-related pressures affecting food availability, agricultural production and household livelihoods.

The transaction expands C.H. Guenther’s ingredient portfolio and strengthens its position in products associated with authentic Southern flavours.
