Australia’s Brooki Bakehouse set to debut in the UAE

UAE – Brooki Bakehouse, an Australian dessert brand, is preparing to open its first location in the UAE, introducing its renowned chunky cookies to local dessert enthusiasts, as announced by founder Brooke Bellamy.

Bellamy shared her expansion plans during the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival, revealing that discussions are already underway to establish a franchise, marking an exciting new chapter for the bakehouse.

Brooki Bakehouse initially made its presence known in the UAE as a pop-up at Abu Dhabi’s MOTN festival last year, where it received an overwhelmingly positive response.

Long queues of enthusiastic customers formed, with many waiting hours to purchase boxes of these indulgent cookies.

The demand was apparent, and now Brooki Bakehouse is ready to establish a permanent shop in the region. The business began in 2022 as a delivery-only service, offering freshly baked cookies delivered straight to customers’ doors.

Prior to launching her brand, Brooke traveled the world, visiting various bakeries to gather inspiration. This passion led to a successful enterprise, with two thriving branches in Australia and a third on the way. The UAE expansion is just the beginning, as future plans also include the United Kingdom.

Brooki Bakehouse is known for its thick, New York-style cookies, which are bursting with flavor. Some of the bestsellers include the NYC Cookie with dark chocolate and walnut, the Milk Choc Hazelnut filled with creamy Nutella, the Cookie Butter stuffed with Biscoff, as well as Red Velvet and Double Chocolate varieties.

Seasonal and limited-edition flavors are also part of the offerings, ensuring customers continually return for new delights. The exact location of the upcoming UAE branch is yet to be revealed.

A similar recent development in UAE’s baking and snacks sector is Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing’s signing of a 50-year land lease with Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility valued at US$30 million.

Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Ismail Industries, Pakistan’s largest confectionery, biscuits, and snack food manufacturer, plans to set up its 37,000-square-metre facility in KEZAD to manufacture biscuits and confectionery products as part of the company’s global expansion strategy.
