With improved first-half EBITA and strengthened leadership in the United States and Brazil, the company enters the second half of 2026 focused on operational execution, customer relationships, and continued expansion across specialty chemicals and ingredients markets.

NETHERLANDS – IMCD reported solid financial performance for the first half of 2026, delivering an operating EBITA of €285 million (US$329.75M), up 4% year-on-year (and 8% on a constant currency basis).
Group revenue rose 11% on a constant currency basis to reach €2.638 billion (US$3.05B), driven by balanced organic growth and strategic bolt-on acquisitions across global markets.
Gross profit grew 7% on a constant currency basis to €658 million (US$761.31M), while free cash flow jumped 29% to €222 million (US$256.85M), reflecting operational resilience and disciplined working capital management.
The EMEA segment delivered the strongest performance, with revenue up 15% to €1,225.0 million (US$1.42B) and operating EBITA rising 15% to €142.9 million (US$165.34M), supported by 5% organic growth and acquisition contributions.
In Asia-Pacific, revenue grew 6% to €676.6 million (US$782.83M), up 14% on a constant currency basis, with operating EBITA up 3% to €89.1 million (US$103.09M).
The Americas segment contracted, with revenue falling 4% to €736.8 million (US$852.48M) and operating EBITA declining 16% to €70.0 million (US$80.99M), driven by organic contraction and adverse currency effects.
Chief Executive Officer Marcus Jordan said the company had a positive first half, achieving organic growth in gross profit and EBITA alongside increased free cash flow generation, and remained focused on commercial, operational and digital excellence initiatives.
Alongside its financial report, IMCD executed key leadership moves across the Americas to sharpen its commercial focus and scale its market presence.

In North America, IMCD appointed Vlad Miller as President for the United States, effective August 1, 2026.
Miller, who joined IMCD US as Vice President of Finance in 2018 before adding operations to his scope in 2022, previously held leadership positions at Sherwin-Williams.
He assumes the role permanently after successfully steering the US business on an interim basis for five months.
In his new capacity, Miller will focus on driving operational performance and deepening ties with key suppliers and formulation partners.
In Latin America, IMCD named João Esteves as Managing Director for IMCD Brazil, effective August 10, 2026. Esteves, who previously served as Finance Director for IMCD Brazil, steps up to lead the regional unit through its next growth phase.

His appointment follows IMCD’s targeted expansions in the Brazilian market across the home care, industrial, water treatment, and beauty sectors.
Together, the financial momentum and strategic executive appointments position IMCD to deepen its market footprint across high-growth formulation segments in North and South America throughout the remainder of 2026.
