The Indonesian subsidiary will allow 4B to deliver faster service, enhanced technical support, and improved product availability for customers
INDONESIA – 4B Group, a UK-headquartered global leader in bucket elevator and conveyor components, has officially launched its newest subsidiary, 4B Indonesia, with a new office and warehouse facility in Jakarta.
The expansion, which took effect on May 1, 2025, marks a strategic investment in Southeast Asia’s largest economy, where growing demand for bulk material handling is being driven by the expansion of feed, rice milling, and agro-industrial sectors.
The Indonesian subsidiary will allow 4B to deliver faster service, enhanced technical support, and improved product availability for customers across the archipelago. Previously, the Indonesian market was served through 4B Australia.
Founded over 130 years ago, 4B Group is part of the Braime Group and has built a strong reputation in industrial and agricultural sectors for its innovative products and engineering services.
With this new local establishment, 4B aims to respond more efficiently to the rising demand for bulk material handling components in sectors such as feed production, rice milling, palm oil processing, and general agro-industrial infrastructure.
Christian Chandra, who will serve as managing director of 4B Indonesia, emphasized the importance of localized support.
“By opening 4B Indonesia, we are bringing our expertise closer to customers and ensuring they receive faster, better service. Indonesia is a dynamic and growing market, and we are committed to serving our customers with best-in-class solutions and technical support that meets their needs,” he said.
Paul Dennis, president director of 4B Australia and Indonesia, echoed these sentiments, describing Indonesia as a “strategically important region” for the company’s long-term growth.
“The launch of 4B Indonesia is an exciting step forward. Our goal is to not only offer world-class products but also to provide engineering solutions that enhance safety, efficiency and productivity in bulk material handling systems,” he said.
4B’s presence in Jakarta will not only strengthen support for customers within Indonesia, but also enable the company to serve the broader ASEAN region more effectively.
The new warehouse will stock a wide range of components locally, reducing lead times and enhancing responsiveness to customer needs.
In addition, the Jakarta team will provide onsite engineering services, installation support, and system diagnostics, allowing 4B to build closer technical partnerships with equipment manufacturers and processing plants across the region.
