WellBe Foods introduces vacuum-cooked snacks among other innovative products

The new snacks will be available through WellBe’s established distribution channels, including direct sales via its website, partnerships with leading e-commerce platforms, general trade outlets, and modern retail stores.

INDIA – WellBe Foods, a leading direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand under the Nimida Group, has launched an innovative new category of vacuum-cooked snacks alongside a suite of 14 fresh product additions aimed at health-conscious consumers.

The brand’s vacuum-cooked snacks focus on legumes, pulses, and tubers cooked using vacuum technology, which enhances flavor and nutrient retention while maintaining a “better-for-you” profile.

This launch reinforces WellBe’s commitment to delivering snacks that are “Deliciously Good, Honestly Made, No Nasties Ever,” emphasizing clean-label ingredients without artificial additives.

Building on the burgeoning healthy snacking market in India, valued at approximately US$2.67 billion in fiscal year 2024 with projected growth to nearly US$5 billion by 2032, WellBe has also expanded its range of reinvented traditional Indian snacks.

The expanded portfolio includes classics like Peanut Chikki and Peanut Chikki Bites; Flower Murukku, Maddur Vada, Achari Murukku; Tomato Chakli; Khara Boondi; Onion Pakoda and Onion Kodbale; Namak Para and Shakkar Para; as well as Banana Chips, Potato Chips, and Poha Chivda.

Each product is crafted to fuse traditional flavors with modern health-conscious sensibilities, delivering snacks that offer familiar tastes without compromising on quality or health standards.

Gaurav Manchanda, Founder and Director of Nimida Group, underlined the brand philosophy: “Healthy snacking should never mean compromise: in taste, texture, or tradition. By introducing vacuum-cooked snacks and reimagining traditional recipes, we’re raising the bar for what snack lovers can expect: snacks that feel familiar yet are better for you.”

This approach demonstrates WellBe’s focus on leveraging innovative food technologies and thoughtful ingredient choices to set new benchmarks in the growing healthy snacking sector.

The new snacks will be available through WellBe’s established distribution channels, including direct sales via its website, partnerships with leading e-commerce platforms, general trade outlets, and modern retail stores.

The company aims to increase its presence in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, expanding access to clean and healthy snacks beyond metropolitan hubs.

This strategy aligns with WellBe’s goal of reaching over 38,000 stores across India by March 2026, encompassing general trade (GT), modern trade (MT), and semi-modern trade (SAMT) formats.

WellBe Foods is aggressively scaling innovation and distribution, combining technology with tradition to meet India’s fast-growing demand for convenient, nutritious, and authentic snacking options.
