RAPS invests in modern new headquarters in Kulmbach 

GERMANY – RAPS GmbH, the international specialist in spices and natural food ingredients, is making a significant investment by establishing a modern new headquarters in Kulmbach, Germany.  

The investment marks a milestone in the company’s century-long history and underscores its commitment to future growth, innovation, and enhanced customer experience. 

The new headquarters will not only serve as an administrative center but also feature a cutting-edge Customer Experience Centre, intended to provide clients with comprehensive insights into RAPS’ product range and technical expertise.  

This expansion exemplifies RAPS’ strategy to blend tradition with innovation by continuing to build on its strong heritage while embracing modern technologies and customer-focused services. 

Construction of the facility aligns with RAPS’ ongoing expansion initiatives, which include substantial investments in production capacity, such as the recent establishment of a state-of-the-art high-pressure liquid extraction plant in Kulmbach.  

This new extraction technology enables the gentle and efficient processing of spices to produce high-quality, natural extracts essential for enhancing flavors in food and beverages, including meat, savoury, dairy and confectionery products, baked goods and snacks. 

The new headquarters will be a hub for coordinating these advanced production and development efforts. 

RAPS has emphasized its commitment to regional partnerships by actively involving local companies in the construction and technical outfitting of the new facility.  

This regional engagement not only strengthens the local economy but also reflects RAPS’ ethos of sustainable and community-focused business practices. 

Leadership transitions have also been a feature at RAPS, with Dr. Oliver Ebneth taking on the CEO role in early 2025.
