Rademaker unveils innovative laminating technology

The company is sharpening its focus on flexible, high-performance dough sheeting solutions as it prepares to showcase its latest laminating technology at iba 2025.

NETHERLANDS – Dutch equipment expert Rademaker has introduced advanced laminators and new semi-automatic production concepts to satisfy changing customer demands at various production sizes.

Rademaker, which is well-known for its highly automated, high-capacity lines, has now created a semi-automatic system designed for bakeries with less demanding output needs.

In addition to providing both automated and manual choices for final product shaping, this technology permits manual manipulation during the cooling and resting phases.

The company aims to deliver flexible solutions that preserve product quality without sacrificing flexibility.

A three-year research effort that began in 2022 and has produced significant advances in dough sheet quality lies at the heart of these advancements.

Better dough uniformity, increased stability in fat layers, and easier machine operation are some of the main improvements.

Rademaker claims that early users are already experiencing improved efficiency, simpler transitions, and a lower chance of contamination as a result of design improvements.

“Consistent, high-quality dough sheets are essential for product reliability. Our new laminators help bakers reduce giveaway, cut waste, and maintain stable weight and shape throughout production,” the company said.

The capacity to handle a broad TA range (135–190) with customized processing and support extended fermentation times with integrated climate control options are just two examples of how Rademaker’s solutions are made to fit with significant industry trends.

The equipment’s automated settings allows maintenance of authentic product quality throughout baking, and less experienced operators may easily handle complex processes thanks to its clever automation and user-friendly interfaces.

Rademaker will showcase how its latest laminating module improves productivity, uniformity, and user-friendliness throughout baking operations at iba 2025’s Hall 10, exhibit A31.

Rademaker was one of the first businesses to focus on creating and supplying cutting-edge solutions for the baking sector when it was founded in 1977. The business creates and supplies industrial bakery systems, equipment, and solutions for the food processing sector.

According to a report published by Allied Market Research, the size of the global bakery processing equipment market was estimated at US$11.4 billion in 2018 and is projected to reach US$18.7 billion by 2026, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7% from 2019 to 2026.
