PPM Technologies introduces continuous frying system

CookWright is adept at frying Pita chips, plantain chips, corn-based snacks, extruded snacks, nuts and seeds, proteins like pork rinds, appetizers like spring rolls, and more options.

USA – PPM Technologies, a member of Duravant’s Food Sorting and Handling Solutions group, introduces their new CookWright™ continuous frying system.

With its adjustable heating, belt, and filtration options, this multipurpose fryer is designed to optimize production efficiency and product quality, guaranteeing that every processor receives the perfect fryer for their particular need.

CookWright maximizes cleanliness and fuel efficiency while producing reliable, high-quality results by combining cutting-edge oil filtration with precise temperature control.

Depending on the product’s properties, such as whether it floats, sinks, or changes buoyancy while frying, the system can be tailored with various belt designs and comes in a variety of capacities.

Indirect thermal fluid exchange, gas-fired heat exchangers, and direct-fired immersion tubes are among the heating choices. The system also comes with single-zone or multi-zone heating designs.

A cutting-edge filtration system, that includes PPM’s patent-pending drum filter and supplementary filtration choices when necessary, maintains the purity of the oil.

This cutting-edge oil management system lowers operating costs, prolongs oil life, and enhances product taste and appearance.

The fryer’s consistent heat distribution is guaranteed by CookWright’s multiple inlets and continuous oil circulation.

CookWright is outfitted with improved sensors and controls that improve operational reliability and monitoring.

With the help of these sensors, it gathers useful data, such as temperature records, running hours, and fault histories, and avails this information via its user-friendly touchscreen HMI.

The advanced controls make it simple to integrate with plant-wide systems for tracking the overall effectiveness of the equipment.

CookWright is built with high-temperature bearings, bigger bearings for increased dependability, stainless steel reducers, and completely enclosed, non-ventilated stainless steel motors made to endure washdown conditions

All these features that make CookWright durable in demanding food processing settings. The fryer also has specific controls for CIP (clean-in-place) capabilities, which makes cleaning and sanitation easier and more efficient.

CookWright is set up to work in unison with PPM’s wide range of products, which includes processing solutions from various Duravant brands such as seasoning, chilling, and conveying systems.

Food processors can purchase entire, turnkey frying lines from a single, reliable supplier thanks to this thorough integration strategy, which also streamlines project management and guarantees that all parts function as a unit.

“At PPM, we know the most effective fryers are designed with close attention to details — that’s why our new CookWright includes advanced filtration technology, several strategically placed sensors and smart controls compatible with plantwide monitoring networks. Our application-specific approach ensures each CookWright is tailored to each customer’s requirements, delivering the best looking and tasting products every time,” said Daniel Luna, director of processing at PPM Technologies.
